Community rules

The network enforces strict rules to maintain a safe and welcoming environment. Key rules include being respectful to all players, a zero-tolerance policy for chat abuse or toxicity, and strict prohibitions against hacking, macros, bug abuse, and disallowed modifications. Additionally, adult themes, political depictions, and references to sensitive real-world events are strictly prohibited.

Plugins and mods

Hypixel does not use standard, off-the-shelf public plugins; instead, it relies on an entirely custom-built, in-house server architecture and plugin suite.
